Carpet Cornhole Bags

What is a carpet bag?

Carpet Bags are probably exactly what you are thinking.  They are a dual sided cornhole bag, featuring a varying speed of fast side, paired up with a slow side made up of carpet material.  Carpet bags generally play slow on the carpet side, with the exception of a few bag manufacturers who do offer carpet materials that are quicker than others.

Carpet bags generally only have graphics printed on the fast side of the bags, as it is extremely difficult to print or apply sublimation printing onto true carpet fabric as it has a polyester base to it which will burn under heat transfer.  So in general, you will find that cornhole bags using carpet materials on one side only have custom print on the fast side.

Now, why are carpet bags so popular?  Carpet has becoming the new suede in today's cornhole market.  Suede was a very popular material for slow sides of cornhole bags, and provided a LOT of friction and grip.  Maybe too much in fact for today's players.  Hence, the arrival of the carpet bag.  Carpet material can still provide a lot of friction and grip when thrown, but it is not quite as sticky and unforgiving under most conditions and generally has a much better feel in the hand.  Carpet bags provide players with an ability to lay up blockers, bounce their bags around or over blockers, and when flipping bags from slow to fast sides in their hands, feels much more consistent than going between suede and a bag's fast side material.

Carpet bags have become extremely popular in today's playing field with elite level players and new players alike.  The attractiveness of throwing the roll, flop, and bounce shots keep players exploring the endless possibilities of what they can do with these popular bag types.

If you are looking for the best carpet bags on the market, look no further.  We offer a full lineup of the most popular carpet bags on the market and we will break down a few of the differences below.

The BG Viking: Slow Sticky Carpet, allowing players to get the grip they are looking for in a carpet bag.  This past season players like Matthew Creekkiller and Jacob Foreman have used this bag to flop, roll, and bounce their way over the top competition in the world.  This bag has a medium fast side on the opposite side that won't get you in a lot of trouble when throwing hard for those push shots.

The BG Wizard: This carpet bag is one of the most popular bags on the market.  It has a slightly fast houndstooth fabric on the slow side paired up with an extremely fast side.  The combination of these two materials creates one of the most hole friendly carpet bags on the market.  The bag can flop, roll, and bounce while also providing a super quick fast side to clean up any blockers that might be in your way.

The AllCornhole Shag Attack: AllCornhole's first carpet bag on the market is an extremely forgiving material that provides players with a carpet bag that will not kick or bounce sideways if the bag is not thrown perfectly flat.  The Shag Attack will hit, stay straight and glide up the board with a speed rating around a 6 to 7 depending on board speed and conditions.  It has the GameChanger fast side making this bag extremely hole friendly and providing an overall soft and comfortable feel in the hand.
